Four arrested for beheading youth in Tiruppur Coimbatore News – Times of India

Coimbatore : Tiruppur The city police has arrested four youths on Tuesday. Behead An apparel unit employee. Police have also recovered the severed head of the deceased Youth – M Satheesh, 25, of Meliyur in Mayiladuthurai district – from the city’s dustbin.
The arrested people have been identified as M Rama alias Ramkumar, 25, of Kallanai village in Madurai district, S Subhaprakash alias Mokkai Prakash, 23, of Thiruppuvanam in Sivaganga district, S Manikandan alias Psycho, 25, of Pulipatti near Melur in Madurai district. Mani and a 25-year-old man. R Satheeshkumar, 24, of Thevaram in Theni district. The four youths were working in different apparel units and were living in different parts of Tiruppur district.
Sathish and his friend D Ranjith, 20, a resident of Thiruvanaikoil near Musiri in Trichy district, were working in an embroidery company at KNP Colony in Serangadu and were staying in the company’s room. On Sunday night, both had gone to an open place in Serangadu to consume liquor.
Ramkumar, Shubhprakash, Manikandan and Sathishkumar, who were drinking there, saw Satish and Ranjit who were new to the area.
“Four youths and both were under the influence of alcohol. The four youths interrogated both of them and snatched them a mobile phone Why Ranjit? Ranjit thrashes a member of the gang and runs away. However, the four youths overpowered Satish and asked him to contact Ranjit over phone. Satish contacted Ranjith over phone and asked him to go to the open space as he was kept in the custody of the gang,” said Tiruppur city police commissioner AG Babu.
Ranjit returned to the open space. The four youths stabbed him with a knife. Ranjit pushed the youths and managed to escape. He was later admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Tiruppur.
“After Ranjit escaped, the youths took Satish, who was in their custody, into the bushes, where they killed him and beheaded him. The youths fled the spot on two motorcycles. One of his friends provided a motorcycle to escape from Tiruppur city,” Babu said.
Babu formed four special teams to nab the accused. The accused were arrested. Commissioner Babu said, “We are trying to find out how many people were involved in the brutal murder.”
He said that the beat policemen have been instructed to go to the open area at night and disperse the people.
