Four BTech pre-final year students from IIIT Naya Raipur, Gaurav Mundada, Yogesh Kumar, Anurav Gupta and Nishant Adagatla have been selected for summer analyst internship at American multinational investment bank and financial services company Goldman Sachs. Students will join a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm for two months from May 2022.
The four have been selected after a rigorous process that involved several rounds. While the first round was based on questions including Aptitude, Language and Mathematics, the second round consisted of questions from Coding, Mathematics and Computer Science theory. The third and fourth rounds were a series of technical and human resource interviews respectively. Thousands of students have appeared for the examination across India, out of which four have also been selected.

To prepare for the exam, the selected students regularly solved coding questions on Letcode, Codeforce and CodeChef, claimed the students. He also took help from the notes taught at IIIT Naya Raipur.
Suggesting others to prepare for such internships, selected students said that to get good internship opportunities, students should focus on building good projects, actively practice competitive coding , and should solve the data structure and algorithm questions, the press release claimed.
The students mentioned that the project-focused curriculum and skill-oriented pedagogy of IIIT Naya Raipur had prepared them well. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sinha, Director, IIITNR congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.
