Free Government Coaching for Law Aspirants

Every year, thousands of law aspirants from various economic and educational backgrounds apply for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Despite the abundance of online and physical study material, it is difficult for many students to start their exam preparation due to lack of guidance.

Nowadays, many coaching institutes are providing educational guidance to the learners but charge a hefty tuition fee, which cannot possibly be availed by everyone. To help many of these budding law aspirants fulfill their dreams, several governments have recently started free coaching to the candidates.

List of Free Government Coaching Centers for Law Candidates

Chief Minister Anupriti Coaching Scheme by Rajasthan Government

Rajasthan government has launched Mukhyamantri Anupratiya Coaching Scheme which will provide free coaching for CLAT to 1000 qualified students. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Extremely Backward Castes, Minorities and Economically Weaker Section candidates whose annual family income is less than Rs 8 lakh per year will be able to take advantage of the scheme run by Tribal Area Development . Minority Affairs, and Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The eligibility to get free coaching will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in class 10 and 12. Children of government employees who have obtained Pay Matrix Level-11 will also be eligible for this scheme, which can be used by each eligible student for a period of one year.

In order to encourage more students to take advantage of this coaching, especially those who have to stay away from their homes due to coaching classes, the government has also announced that these underprivileged students will be provided with housing and food annually. 40,000 will be given.

Jai Bhim Chief Minister Pratibha Vikas Yojana by Delhi Government

Another coaching center in the list has been started by the Delhi government. To ensure that candidates from all castes and classes get equal opportunities in the best law schools in the country, the Delhi government has launched Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana.

Under this scheme, the government will finance quality coaching for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and EWS for national level law examination. JBMPVY scheme is for permanent residents of Delhi and it is in association with Pahuja Law Academy which will provide offline classes.

All eligible students will also receive a monthly stipend of Rs 2500 for the duration of their course from the government to attend their offline classes regularly. Interested people can visit and check the official website of Pahuja Law Academy.

Free Coaching Scheme of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment recently announced a scheme for SC and OBC students. This is a free coaching scheme for students from families with annual income less than Rs.8 lakh. Those who are interested can visit the website coaching.dosje.gov.in.

The selected students will also be provided a stipend of Rs 6,000 and Rs 3,000 per month to the external and local students respectively. In addition, a special allowance of Rs 2,000 will also be provided for disabled students.
