Free health check-up, counseling and counseling camps for CJMU workers. Kanpur News – Times of India

Kanpur: On the occasion of International Labor Day, a program was organized in CSJM University where various welfare activities were carried out. A center for rationing, free health check-up and counseling camps, free medicines and accommodation for their children to play and study for each worker was also established. UP Assembly Speaker Satish the great and Vice Chancellor Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak A banquet was also held with the employees as part of the program.
Several programs were organized in the organization to commemorate the World Labor Day. The provision of examinations, counselling, medicines and other services for various disorders was established in partnership with IMA Kanpur.
According to program convener Dr. Praveen Katiyar (CSJM University), 511 workers in the camp were offered free consultation by experts. Blood pressure, hemoglobin, RBS, BMI and ECG were also checked in the camp. Hemoglobin, RBS test, RBS, BMI and BMD test, ECG test done free of cost. Workers were also given free consultation card for one year at University Health Centre, free consultation by RK Devi Hospital and waiver card for eye operation. Appreciating the workers in the university auditorium, ration packages were distributed to their families and a center set up for organizing sports for the children of the workers was also opened. Satish Mahana, Ayurvedacharya Dr. Vandana PathakVice Chancellor Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak, Dr Kiran Pandey from Medical College, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudheri Kumar Awasthi and Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav distributed ration and food to all the workers. Assembly President Satish Mahana while appreciating the Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak said that the social responsibility programs of the University are important efforts towards change under his leadership. The elephant monument built by the Department of Fine Arts was the center of attraction during the program. Students Ankit Prajapati, Anurag Maurya, Dhananjay and Ramveer made this statue out of non-purpose material. Made of chairs found in dustbins, iron pipes, iron sheets, automobile parts, iron embroidery and other materials, this statue is 14 feet long, 6 feet wide and 10 feet tall. This statue is so big that ten people can sit inside it. It was designed to look like a room, and the mahout sat on top of an elephant.
