It’s very hard to resist a peppy dance number. And when an Instagram Influencer adds their touch to trending beats, you get a viral hit.
The same thing happened with “Snehithen Snehethen” – a song from the Tamil film Alaipayuthe which was released in the year 2000. Zika, a French dancer and an Instagram influencer, picked up a remixed version of the song that has been doing the rounds on the internet and performed Baratanatyam dances with some of her friends.
He shared the video on Instagram with the caption: “I tried Bharatanatyam dance.” He joined forces with popular Indian dancers and choreographers Shanti and Emile Travis.
Since being posted three days ago, the video has garnered over 18,000 likes.
Instagram users from all over the world have showered their love in beautiful comments.
“stunning!” One user said. “Excellent execution bro,” commented another.
Some demanded that they choose a song from their native language.
This is not the first time that Zika has performed on an Indian song, he keeps his fans entertained with many such posts. The last video of Zika on an Indian song “Tip Tip Barsa Pani” in an empty stadium also went viral.
That video garnered over 90,000 views and 24,000 likes. Zika was seen performing the signature step, which was highly praised on social media.
She also chose ‘Sami Sami’ from Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise as one of her dance numbers. In a recent post, Zika chose another Bollywood song “Dil Dooba” along with a mashup of some other songs.
