On the occasion of Ugadi, Tollywood’s top celebrities Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Mahesh Babu and others wished their fans a happy Telugu New Year. These leading stars not only extended their festival wishes but also updated the fans about their upcoming films. Megastar K. Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to wish people on Ugadi and shared a picture in which he is seen performing puja at his home with his wife Surekha and other family members.
On the occasion of Ugadi, Chiranjeevi announced the release date of his upcoming film ‘Bhola Shankar’. After delivering a hit with ‘Waltair Veeraiya’, the megastar announced that ‘Bhola Shankar’ will release on August 11 and also released a special poster of the film which features him alongside Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the film will feature Tamannaah as the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi, while Keerthy will play a pivotal role.
N. Balakrishna also added to the excitement of his fans with the announcement of a new film on Ugadi. NBK108’s poster reads, “This time beyond your imagination.” The yet to be titled film will be directed by Anil Ravipudi. After Akhanda and Veera Narasimha Reddy, Balakrishna is all set to deliver yet another hit. Her fans have high hopes from this film which will star Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role.
Actor Venkatesh, who has been greeting people on Ugadi, also used the occasion to share the poster of his upcoming film Saindhav. The shooting of Venkatesh’s 75th film will begin on March 23. The poster said, “Rampage rolling from 23-03-2023.” Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film will feature nawazuddin siddiqui in the lead role. This will mark the Tollywood debut of the Bollywood actor.
Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan also wished happiness and prosperity for all Telugu speaking people on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi. The Jana Sena Party leader hoped that the new year would bring happiness and prosperity to farmers, workers, traders, students, teachers and employees. Jr NTR and Ram Charan tweeted, “Wishing everyone a very happy Ugadi, Gudi Padwa and Chaitra Sukhladi.”

May this festive season usher in new hope, prosperity and happiness.” On the occasion of Ugadi, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter Sitara shared a video on Instagram. He wrote, “Let’s make this Ugadi memorable by spreading love, kindness and positivity around us. Happy Ugadi to all of you.”
While wishing people a happy Ugadi, Nani also shared an update about her upcoming film ‘Dussehra’ which is all set to release on March 30. He will be promoting the film in different cities of the country next week.
