IIT- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the first choice of every engineering aspirant in India. A good score in the entrance exam can land you in reputed IITs and provide a perfect launchpad to your career. However, JEE exam is not the only way to get admission in a good engineering college. Apart from the famous IITs, there are various government and private colleges that offer quality courses in the field of engineering. These colleges take admission through various state and national level entrance gates held every year. If you are looking for admission in engineering courses this academic year, here is a list of engineering admissions you can apply for.
SRMJEE
SRMJEE is conducted every year for offering admission to B.Tech courses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology at its campuses in Kattankulatharam Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Andhra Pradesh and NCR (National Capital Region). While the first phase of SRMJEE has already been conducted, the application for the next phase will go on till April 18. After this, registration for the third phase of SRMJEE will be done till June 20. The entrance test will be conducted as 2.5 hours- long distance test covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

TBJEE
Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) has started the registration process for admission to engineering courses in various government and private colleges across the state. Candidates can apply online at tbjee.nic.in till March 2. The entrance test will be conducted tentatively on April 27.
BITSAT
BITSAT- the entrance exam for admission to engineering courses at Birla Institute of Technology and Science campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. The application process is expected to begin by April. BITSAT will be conducted as a computer based online test consisting of objective type questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, English, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics or Biology.
Viteee
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has also started the registration for VITEEE 2022. Candidates will be offered admission in B.Tech courses at various VIT campuses on the basis of their performance in VITEEE. The entrance exam will have questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology English subjects

Gujarat
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) notification is likely to release by April or May. Candidates seeking admission in Gujarat based Engineering, Diploma and Pharmacy colleges can apply for GUJCET after the commencement of registration.
Additionally, there are several other state-based entrance exams like Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Test (UPCET) and others whose notification is expected to be released soon. Meanwhile, the notification for IIT-JEE Mains 2022 can be released anytime now. The exam is likely to be conducted four times like last year. However, for confirmation, candidates have to wait for the official notification.
