Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]Jan 29 (ANI): The last rites of Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Bheda, who died of endometrial cancer on Saturday night, were performed at Andheri’s Oshiwara on Sunday.
When her mother was being cremated, the rakhi broke and she was seen inconsolable.
The ceremony was attended by Rakhi’s industry friends including Farah Khan, Rashmi Desai, Sangeeta Kapoor and Ehsaan Qureshi.

As she was laid to rest, Rakhi, her husband Adil Khan and her brother were seen offering flowers and offering prayers.
Rajeev Bhatia and actor-fashion designer Rohit K Verma were also seen at Rakhi’s mother’s funeral.
Sharing the unfortunate news on Instagram, Rakhi wrote, “Aaj meri maa ka haath sar se utha gaya. Or I have nothing to sleep on baby. I love you mother Nothing is left without you, now who will listen to my call or who will hug me mother..what should I do now…said Jouuuu..I miss you.. (Today my mother’s hand lifted from my head. I have nothing left to lose. I miss you mother. Now who will listen to me and hug me.)”
Along with the emotional note, Rakhi posted a heartwarming video. In the clip, Rakhi can be seen praying while sitting on the hospital floor while her mother rests on the bed. Rakhi is seen crying bitterly.
After learning about the demise of Rakhi’s mother, members of the film and TV industry expressed their heartfelt condolences.
Veteran actor Jackie Shroff commented, “I think your pain will always be with us after losing my parents brother.”
Actress Ridhima Pandit commented, “Stay strong Rakhi…Sending prayers and love…May her soul rest in peace.”
“Very sad Rakhi, please stay strong. Om Shanti,” wrote singer Ankit Tiwari.
Rakhi’s mother was suffering from cancer for almost three years. She was 73 years old.
A few days back, Rakhi had visited Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah Sharif to pray for her mother’s health. Rakhi always keeps sharing her mother’s videos and photos on social media. In fact, a few days back he had uploaded a video on Instagram asking his fans and friends to pray for his mother’s deteriorating health.
Even during her stint in ‘Bigg Boss’, Rakhi had revealed that she was doing the show to meet the expenses of her mother’s treatment. After her revelation in 2021, Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan reportedly extended her financial help to cover the hospital bills. (ANI)
