Ganesh Chaturthi 2022 Day 2: Watch Live Aarti from Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on all 10 days of Ganeshotsav here

Siddhivinayak Temple of Mumbai: The ten-day festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha began with religious fervor on August 31. Ganeshotsav has great religious significance, and devotees from everywhere live to witness the celebrations of the Siddhivinayak temple on the occasion. However, those who will not be able to watch the festival live this year can watch online coverage of the puja from the temple. According to the Hindu calendar, this year Vinayaka Chaturthi festival has started from Tuesday, August 31, while Ganesh Visarjan is on September 9.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can do that. The temple, unique for being the only Ganapati idol whose trunk is placed on the right, will offer live coverage on its official website where people can stream the rituals that take place directly.

Aarti times during which you can be a part of the sacred ritual:

Wednesday to Monday:

  1. Kakad Aarti – 5.30 am to 6.00 am
  2. Evening Aarti – 7.30 pm to 8 pm
  3. Sheja Aarti – Last Aarti of the day: 9.50 PM (Temple doors remain closed after Shejarati)
  4. The temple remains completely closed till the next morning after ‘Shejaarti’.

Tuesday:

  1. Kakad Aarti – 5.00 am to 5.30 am
  2. Night Aarti – 9.30 pm to 10.00 pm
  3. Shej Aarti – Last Aarti of the day: 12 o’clock (Temple doors remain closed after Shej Aarti)

The temple is famous as the idol of Ganapati, here it is carved out of a single black stone. This time Ganesh Chaturthi is falling on 31st August.
