Doctors tried to save Japan’s former prime minister Shinzo Abe for nearly five hours after he was shot this morning, but he could not because he had “a wide hole in his heart”, according to the hospital.

67-year-old Shinzo Abe was delivering an election campaign speech in the western city of Nara, some 500 km from the capital Tokyo, at around 11.30 am. some people were seen try to revive him While the ambulance arrived. He was brought to Nara Medical University Hospital at 12.20 pm.
