8.com/topics/iit-kharagpur/">Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur Admit card has been issued Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 January 15 on the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from February 5 to February 13.

GATE 2022: Advice to candidates to get vaccinated

IIT Kharagpur officials have earlier said that the COVID-19 situation is being reviewed and the exam dates may be extended if found not conducive to conducting the exam. One final call is yet to be taken.

“The health and safety of our exam participants is a top priority. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, all the dates mentioned on this website are subject to change. In rare cases, GATE 2022 exam may be postponed or canceled due to circumstances beyond control,” read the official website. It said that all the candidates have been advised to get the vaccine of Kovid-19 also.

Step 2. On the homepage click on GATE 2022 admit card link

Step 3. Log in using your Registration Number and Password

Step 4. Your GATE 2022 Admit Card will appear on the screen

Step 5. Take a printout of GATE 2022 admit card and save it for future use.

GATE 2022 Admit Card: What to Check

GATE 2022 admit card will contain details like exam day guidelines, exam venue, reporting time, candidate’s name, registration details, GATE 2022 paper code, etc. Candidates must check all the details of the hall ticket thoroughly and in case of any discrepancy. The authorities should report immediately.

GATE 2022: Two new subjects added

Two new themes have been added in Gate 2022 – Geomatics Engineering and Naval Architecture, and Marine Engineering. The exam will be of 29 subjects in total. A candidate can appear for a maximum of two papers. Combinations must be selected from an approved list of combinations.

GATE 2022: Exam Pattern

GATE 2022 will be of three hours per test consisting of multiple choice, multiple choice questions and numerical answer type questions. Some questions will be of one mark, while others will be of two marks. In MSQ and NAT questions, there will be no negative marking, however, for MCQ section, one third of the marks allotted for the question will be deducted for wrong answer.

GATE 2022 qualified candidates will be eligible to get admission in MTech courses in IITs, IISERs as well as PSUs on the basis of their scores and subsequent interview rounds. GATE score is valid for three years from the date of declaration of result.
