Gautam Solar supplies high efficiency solar panels to power Bhopal airport

New Delhi: Gautam Solar on Monday said that it has successfully supplied 10BB mono half-cut solar panels for the solar power plant at Raja Bhoj International Airport (Bhopal Airport) in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

“The supply of these solar panels is an important step toward promoting the use of clean energy and reducing the airport’s carbon footprint,” the company said in a press release.

The project was completed within the specified time frame, demonstrating Gautam Solar’s commitment to timely delivery of high quality solar products.

It added, “The supplied panels are capable of generating approximately 1,50,000 units of electricity per year, thereby reducing 106 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.”

Solar panels were installed on the rooftops of the airport parking area and other designated areas for airport staff accommodation to make optimum use of the available space.
