“Get The Hell Out Of My Face”: US Journalist Deals With Annoying Fan On Air

Unruly spectators often interfere with reporters’ work by interrupting them, but one American sports journalist recently demonstrated how to handle pesky detractors.

CBS Miami sports reporter Samantha Rivera was busy with her coverage of the Vegas Golden Knights’ 7-2 win over the Florida Panthers at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Suddenly, an obnoxious fan tried to get into the camera frame while Samantha was speaking on live TV.

Keeping her eyes fixed on the camera, she clutches the rowdy fan with her right hand while holding her microphone in the other hand.

Ms. Rivera kept saying “no” as the fan attempted to invade her live shot.

“That’s the kind of fan you don’t want to be, do you?” Ms. Rivera continued her review of Game 2.

Ms. Rivera also addressed the incident with a tweet on social media, saying, “Listen, I don’t care what team you’re supporting. I’m here to do my job.”

On the Internet, people are praising him for being careful enough to keep the fan out of the broadcast while delivering the news.
