American supermodel Gigi Hadid rocked the international fashion world, and her relationship with Zayn Malik made her a favorite among One Direction fans. Today, the couple celebrated their daughter’s first birthday, and the party is not worth missing. Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share glimpses of her daughter Khai Hadid Malik’s birthday and the best thing about the party is the colorful cake! The party decorations were filled with bright colors and the cake matched that!

A one year old baby birthday cake was everything any baby could ever ask for! The cake is unlike the usual three-tiered cakes that we see. The levels are laid out in a topsy-turvy manner, making us question gravity on our own! The cake is balanced out by a cute edible elephant, and has a pink fondant base with pops of color like blue, yellow, orange and more. It also has a rainbow starting from one tier of the cake and landing on the other cake. We think cake is too beautiful to eat, but of course, any birthday is incomplete without a delicious cake. When Gigi Hadid was pregnant with her daughter, she shared how she must have been eating spicy foods – “well, I was a psychic pregnant person”. The newly-built mother’s pantry was filled with garam masala, tandoori masala, cumin and more spices that are common in Indian homes. Clearly Gigi Hadid knows her own way about food, her love for Indian spices and her daughter’s beautiful birthday cake have made us believe in the supermodel’s food choices.
