Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday warned the Russian military to abandon its military equipment and leave the country.

In a message to the invading forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, “Give up your military equipment and leave … Save your life. Leave.”

Earlier in the day, Zelensky pressured the European Union to grant Ukraine membership “immediately”. Zelensky’s statements come at a time when Russian President Vladimir Putin has placed the nuclear deterrence force on standby, raising the temperature for a nuclear strike.

Russia’s nuclear moves come after repeated and relentless sanctions from the West, which Putin dubbed a bunch of lies, but tit-for-tat sanctions after closing airspace to 36 countries, including European and Canada Put it too.
