The 42-year-old actor is one of the most talked about daily soap actors of his times and has always been known to maintain a balance between professional and personal life.
She is a single mother of two daughters and yet continues to work and serves as a great inspiration to many.
Parmar is all set to mark her arrival in the OTT world and she looks up to the challenge.
“I am happy to explore a new medium with ‘Yeh Meri Family’! Honestly speaking, the kind of work and experimentation on OTT is amazing and I am glad that I can work in different mediums and expand my career. With each project I am able to entertain my audience.
She said, “When ‘Yeh Meri Family’ was offered to me, I fell in love with Neerja’s character. She is a teacher, she is a wife, she is a mother, she is a daughter-in-law, she is very relatable and I thought there was a character here that many women would identify with. And ‘Yeh Meri Family’ has a beautiful flavor of the 90s that many of us are nostalgic about in terms of the simplicity, life and intricacies of those days I am excited for my viewers to see me in a new avatar and I look forward to experimenting more in OTT shows. I love when I watch content on OTT that the characters are so real, they are just Writing is not defined by relationships, rather writing is based on building a personality.
In terms of being nervous as he steps up his professional game, the actor commented, “I wouldn’t say I’m nervous, rather I’m really excited. I’ve got a D-day countdown going on in my head.” And I just can’t wait….”
