Go Digit General Insurance launches new campaign with Virat Kohli

Go Digit General Insurance has announced the launch of its new brand campaign “Do the Digit Digit” ad-film show with company investor and brand ambassador Virat Kohli.

The company said the ad depicted how nearly three crore Indians, its customers, have trusted the brand to insure their health, motor, travel and property, etc.

The cricketer is seen dancing to the company’s new song, which depicts the people and elements in the film gradually changing to the color amber, which represents the presence of the insurer. This highlights its lines of business and the ease of buying insurance from the company, Jingle said, noting how it has leveraged technology to grow and streamline its business operations.

Tanya Marwah, Vice President and Head of Brand Marketing for the firm, “We are celebrating our presence over the years with this exciting new anthem and hook step with Virat Kohli.”

Kohli said, “Like cricket, insurance companies must evolve to keep up with the changing times to bring their A-game forward. You have to be disruptive in a way that brings real change and is understood by people. There was a great need to digitize. Working with the team is always fun and this time we have a new hook step that represents taking away one’s worries to be positive and happy.”

According to IBEF, the market share of private sector companies in the general and health insurance market increased from 48.03% in FY15 to 49.31% in FY15.
