Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has retained the portfolios of Home and Finance ministries, while Vishwajit Rane, the second-most senior minister in his cabinet, who held the portfolios of Health and Women and Child Development in the previous cabinet, was allotted the crucial Town and Country Planning portfolios. Mauvin Godinho, the former Minister of Transport, Panchayats and Protocol, was allotted the same ministry with the Department of Industries.
Former Congress Chief Minister and now BJP MLA Ravi Naik has been allotted Agriculture, Handicrafts and Civil Supplies Ministry. Nilesh Cabral has been allotted the Ministry of Environment, Public Works and Legislative Affairs, besides Law and Judiciary.
Former Congress state president and now BJP minister Subhash Shirodkar has been allotted water resources department along with cooperative and provideoria portfolios, while former arts and culture minister Govind Gowde has been allotted the same portfolio apart from sports and rural development agency. ,
Rohan Khunte has been allotted the prestigious Tourism Ministry along with the Information Technology portfolio, while Atanasio Monserrate, a former Congressman who joined the BJP in 2019, has been allotted the Revenue, Labor and Waste Management portfolios.
