The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday named Amit Palekar as its chief ministerial candidate for the Goa Assembly elections. A well-known lawyer and social activist, Palekar hails from the OBC Bhandari community. AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal made this announcement during a press conference in Panaji, Goa. Kejriwal said the party will contest all 40 assembly seats in Goa.
