Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated the health workers of Goa for completing 100 per cent of the first vaccination dose and said the state is playing a key role in the success of the world’s largest and fastest vaccination campaign “Vaccine for all, free vaccine”. Is.

Interacting with Health Care Workers (HCWs) and beneficiaries of the COVID Vaccination Program in Goa via video conferencing, PM Modi said, “Goa is the success of the world’s largest and fastest immunization campaign – ‘Sabko Vaccine, Free Vaccine’. In the last few months, Goa under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant fought bravely against heavy rains, cyclones and floods.

“I thank Team Goa, for their work in these times. Every eligible person in Goa has got a dose of the vaccine. This is a big deal in the fight against Corona. Congratulations to all the people of Goa for this. The kind of coordination that Goa has shown to meet the social and geographical challenges is commendable. The Canacuna sub-division, which is located far and wide in the state, is a testament to the rapid immunization of the rest of the state.

Modi further said that Goa’s vaccine wastage prevention model will help other parts of the country.

Interacting with Goa’s health workers and vaccine beneficiaries, PM Modi also lauded the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for 100% vaccination of the adult population in the state.

Appreciating the efforts of health workers and corona warriors, who can make it possible to create a new world record by vaccinating more than 2.5 crore people in a single day, PM Modi said, “On September 17, more than 2.5 crore vaccinations were done. With the biggest dose of vaccination given. Indian health workers deserve praise and show our dedication to fight this pandemic. The government is trying to ensure that not a single citizen of India gets a vaccine during this difficult time. Don’t face any difficulty.”

“I would also like to appreciate all the doctors, medical staff, people associated with the administration in the country. With the efforts of all of you, India has created a record of giving vaccine to more than 2.5 crore people in a day yesterday,” he added. .

He further added, “The achievement shows India’s strength and the whole world will accept it.”

Meanwhile, healthcare workers congratulated PM Modi, who celebrated his 71st birthday on Friday.

Taking a jibe at the opposition, PM Modi said that some parties are getting fever after 2.5 crore vaccinations.
