Gold climbs ₹415 on global cues; Silver Zoom ₹ 858

Gold was trading with gains in the international market.

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose by Rs 415 to Rs 48,327 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday, reflecting an overnight rise in precious metal prices internationally.

In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at ₹ 47,912 per 10 grams.

Silver also rose by ₹ 858 to ₹ 64,429 per kg from ₹ 63,571 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,841 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 24.13 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold of 24 karat rose by Rs 415 in Delhi, reflecting overnight rise in COMEX gold prices despite the strengthening of rupee.”
