Gold fell ₹ 105; Silver fell by Rs 572

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell by ₹105 to ₹56,082 per 10 grams in the national capital on January 12.

In the previous trade, gold had reached Rs 56,187 per 10 grams.

Silver also declined by Rs 572 to Rs 68,754 per kg.

An analyst at HDFC Securities said, “Gold prices are trading lower by ₹105 per 10 grams at ₹56,082 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.”

In the overseas market, gold was trading steady at $1,883 an ounce, while silver was trading lower at $23.67 an ounce.

Navneet Damani, Senior VP, Commodity Research at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, said, “Gold prices were flat during early Asian hours as traders awaited key US inflation data that could impact the US Fed’s policy. ”
