Gold fell by ₹ 216; Silver Tank ₹ 179

Gold was trading with a fall in the international market.

Gold prices on Wednesday fell by Rs 216 to Rs 47,010 per 10 grams in the national capital, tracking a fall in the precious metal’s prices in the international market, according to HDFC Securities.

In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at ₹ 47,226 per 10 grams.

Silver also declined by Rs 179 to Rs 61,348 per kg from Rs 61,527 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading flat at $ 1,804 an ounce and silver at $ 23.07 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “The spot gold price was USD 1,804 an ounce in Comex on Wednesday. Gold remained under pressure even as the dollar strengthened.
