According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell by Rs 195 to Rs 50,723 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday amid a fall in the precious metal prices internationally.

Silver also fell by ₹863 to ₹52,819 per kg from ₹53,682 in the previous session.
In the international market, gold was trading at $1,703 an ounce, while silver was flat at $17.73 an ounce.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “A strong dollar and speculation on US non-farm payroll data has led to the fall in gold prices.”
