Gold fell to ₹ 491; Silver Broken ₹ 724

According to HDFC Securities, gold fell by Rs 491 to Rs 45,735 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday amid a fall in international precious metal prices and a firming rupee.

The precious metal had closed at ₹46,226 per 10 grams in the previous trade.

Silver also declined by ₹724 to ₹61,541 per kg from ₹62,265 per kg in the previous trade.

The Indian rupee rose 5 paise to 73.45 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday.

In the international market, gold was trading flat at $ 1,786 an ounce and silver at $ 23.60 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Gold weakened to below $1,790 an ounce on rise in US bond yields.”
