Gordon Ramsay, is a proud father of six children, Tilly and Megan Ramsay, Holly Ramsay, Jack Ramsay, Oscar Ramsay and Jesse Ramsay. On various occasions, we have seen Gordon openly expressing his opinions on his kids’ relationships. Even his conversations with his kids’ partners are quite intriguing. How do we know? On July 26, BBC Sports aired a conversation that involved Gordon and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. FYI, Adam is Gordon’s daughter Holly’s boyfriend and a decorated athlete.
Amid an interaction about Adam Peaty’s Olympic trip to swim in the men’s 100 breaststroke beginning July 27, Gordon added a fun twist. He asked Adam about his plans to retire after these Games. Not one to back down, Adam also participated in the mischief. The swimmer, who is taking part in the Olympics for the third time, responded saying, “Who knows?”
Gordon did not stop there and continued teasing Adam for dodging the question. He added, “You’re smiling; I’m not going to give you the pleasure of it; I’m not gonna do it; you’re setting traps. You’re definitely not retiring.” Adam, putting his wit into display, cleverly replied, “No pressure!”
Further lighting up the mood, Gordon Ramsay seemingly expressed his appreciation for Adam Peaty with phrases like “well done” and “thank you.” He even told Holly, “You’ve got a big heart; you take things personally like I do.”
In a 2022 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Gordon Ramsay shared that he loves the men who date his daughters, admitting that he can be a bit mischievous. He even expressed his wish for his daughters to be well taken care of while also reflecting on his concerns as a father.
Earlier this week, Gordon Ramsay shared a poster on Instagram celebrating his daughter Matilda Ramsay’s (aka Tilly) achievement on her graduation day. Matilda, in the picture, can be seen holding her diploma from the University of Nottingham.
Notably, she earned a degree in psychology from the University. “She’s Done it! Can’t explain enough how proud we are of this one honestly with everything you’ve been up against and to see you graduate today with a psychology BSc makes me the happiest Dad in the World congratulations darling well done,” read his caption.
