The Governing Council meeting of GM Institute of Technology, Davangere was held recently.
Council Chairman GM Lingaraju and other members of the Board discussed improving quality of education, skill development, research, academic excellence, MoUs with industries, placements and related matters, GMIT Principal Y. Vijaykumar said in a press release.
Upgradation of GMIT into a private university was also discussed in the meeting. The release said that council member K. Divyananda, Jacob Krusta, Vidyashankar, Shashidhar, PB Kottur, S. Ramachandra, KM Subramanya, Tejashwi Kattimani, Aneethkumar, L. Raji, GP Mallikarjuna and others were present.
