RANCHI: In order to make students aware about the cyber crimes and safety measures against cyber bullying, the Department of School Education and Literacy has directed all schools to observe “Cyber Awareness Day”.cyber awareness day) on the first Wednesday of every month to promote cyber cleanliness as a public awareness campaign for school students.
As part of the Information and Communication Technology curriculum for primary and middle school students, the school will celebrate cyber awareness day and educating students about cyber security. So, to protect them from cyberbullying, they will be taught about the safety measures that they should follow while surfing the web. Since cyber security is a component of information and communication technology curricula in elementary and middle school, it is important to equip students with the skills to deal with such unforeseen situations. Teachers will display posters, advertisements and other lessons related to cyber crime on smart TVs to educate children about cyber crime. Students will learn about the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (14C), which deals with cyber crimes, as well as the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, which helps in filing complaints on cyber crimes.
