Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan on Sunday congratulated ISRO scientists on the successful launch of its heaviest rocket LVM3-M2 from Sriharikota.
Mr Harichandan said this is a major achievement for the entire launch vehicle team, as LVM3, which is known as one of the heaviest for its ability to carry satellites up to 8,000 kg, has completed its first commercial mission. But completed the class very accurately.
The Governor said that the country is proud of the achievements of the scientists and the mission has achieved another milestone for ISRO.
In a statement, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lauded ISRO for successfully placing 36 satellites into orbit through the LMV 3 rocket. He wished him many more achievements in future.
