MeitY on Sunday organized three sessions on important aspects such as ‘IT Rules, Online Gaming and Data Governance’, ‘Digital India Language and Digital Payments’ and ‘MyScheme and Meri Pehchaan’. MeitY said the demo was shown on entitlement/profile-based service discovery in MyScheme.

The ministry organized five panel discussions on Monday. These were – Attracting and retaining startups in Tier 2 cities, Use of emerging technology in public services, Making India a talent nation, Realization of digital government in states and Make-in-India for the Globe – Semiconductor of the nation as India.

Some of the speakers at these sessions were MapmyIndia CEO Rohan Verma, Wadhwani CEO Prakash Kumar, Nasscom Chairman Debjani Ghosh, Tata Sons Senior Government Affairs Officer Tanmay Chakraborty and Texas Instruments MD Santosh Kumar.

On collaboration, MeitY Secretary Alkesh Kumar Sharma said start-up-friendly policies and incentives at the state level to create a thriving start-up ecosystem. On emerging technology, he emphasized on data-driven decision making and data and process-driven innovations using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Drones and Internet of Things (IoT).
