Former Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott (Tony Abbott) has rejected US-based chart seller company Hindenburg probe fraud lie against Adani Group saying these are gauge allegations. In an interview with NDTV today, Abbott said, “It is very easy to make an allegation. Just because some allegation is made, it does not make it true. I believe on this principle of common law that you are guilty until proved. Referring to Adani Group’s billions of dollars investment in his country, he said, “If there is anything in this (allegations), I am sure they will look into it. As far as I am concerned , I am server for the trust the Adani Group has shown in Australia.”

Along with these investments, he credited the Adani Group for Decimal in Australia. Abbott also noted the Narendra Modi government’s efforts to ensure 24×7 electricity to millions of people in India with the help of Australian coal that Adani Group has dumped without paying any duty. Abbott told NDTV, “As someone who has been a big supporter of Adani Mining in central Queensland, I am delighted that Adani Coal is now coming to India to help electrify the country because you can find 24×7 days) cannot live a modern life without electricity. This is being made possible through regular Australian coal, Adani Mining, a claim made by our government late last year.”
Helping to provide 24×7 power to millions of people in India
Abbott said he is delighted that Australian Coal through the Adani Group is helping to provide 24×7 power to millions of people in India. Unni said, “Adani Coal is coming to India with ‘Zero Tariff’. Thanks to the deal that removed tariffs on Australian teenagers. There is, of course, much more to the energy market than just coal. If India is seeking energy security (energy security), Australia can help supply it.” Abbott, former Prime Minister of Australia, is also a member of the UK government’s or cross board since 2020.
Adani Group invests billions of dollars in Australia
Abbott said, “As an Australian, I know that the Adani Group has invested billions of dollars in Australia, they have created jobs in Australia…the way Adani and his team have worked in Australia, I appreciate the same, as far as the claims being made regarding various market dealings are concerned, I am sure that if there are any, the same will be forwarded to the relevant instructions, which Adani will do for the classes concerned. It is alleged that the Supreme Court has constituted an expert committee to probe the preview controversy over the report of American short seller Hindenburg on the Adani group. The committee, headed by rate judge Abhay Manohar Sapre, will include noted bankers KV Kamath and OP Bhat, Infosys co-founder Nandan Blukani, writ judge JP Expert and commercial law advocate Somasekaran Sundaresan.
