Car owner Sachin Kumar’s brother said that head constable Balraj Singh had been contacting his family members living in Greater Noida’s Darin village and threatening them for some time.
Sachin’s brother Manish Bhati (26) told that at around 10 am on Friday, Balraj reached his house in Vinod Nagar area of ​​New Delhi with two people.
“Ever since we have complained about him, we are getting indirect threats. He has been in touch with our family members through the head of Darin village. They are being asked to settle the matter and if they want to stay in the village, they should not complain against Balraj. He has been claiming that he has spent 23 years in Gautam Budh Nagar district and is very influential.
“On Friday, Balraj came to our house with another man and my uncle. He had a pistol. I refrained from talking to him but he stayed for more than an hour,” Manish said. “We never asked them for any money. But he said that we were demanding Rs 5 lakh from him.
According to Manish, on Thursday, Balraj’s wife called him and asked him to calm the matter. “She told me that they would be destroyed if we proceeded with the matter,” he said. Sachin and Manish have now demanded police protection.
Although Sachin lodged a complaint with Beta 2 police station that Balraj was using a number plate which matches the description of his car, no FIR has been filed. Greater Noida Police He said the complaint has been sent to the Ghaziabad police.
DCP (Greater Noida) Abhishek Jha said that they have not yet received a complaint about any threats.
Kavi Nagar Circle officer Anshu Jain, probing Balraj’s role, said she was unaware of the threats to the family.
