Gripp Partners Oxijo to launch corporate bonds on its platform

New Delhi: Multi-asset alternative investment platform Gripp announced the listing of investment-grade-rated corporate bonds on its platform. Individual investors can invest in these bonds through the platform at an investment of as low as 10,000.

According to a press release, through Gripp’s platform, investors can invest in corporate bonds that have been rated ‘A’ or above by credit rating agencies such as CRISIL, ICRA and India Ratings (Fitch). The corporate bonds will be in demat form and since they will be listed on stock exchanges, there will be secondary trading if the investor is required to exit before maturity.

Investors may consider adding corporate bonds to their portfolios, however, their allocation may vary based on overall objectives, the press release said. For example, an investor taking a higher risk might consider a lower allocation for bonds and a higher allocation for equity markets or alternative assets such as unlisted equities.
