Bharuch: An FIR has been registered against a person for thrashing a stray dog ​​to death with a stick in Bharuch city of Gujarat. The police gave this information on Saturday.
Police said the dog was taken to the animal care hospital in an ambulance after people called the helpline number after accused Vijay More had attacked the dog’s head, leaving it badly injured.
A police officer said that he died during treatment at the hospital.
A case was registered under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Section 429 (killing or maiming cattle) of the Indian Penal Code, the official said.
