Gujarat Titans’ Shubman Gill to interact with fans on Metaverse

Indian Premier League team Gujarat Titans has announced that its player and opener Shubman Gill will interact with fans at the ‘locker room’ and ‘home stadium’ of Gujarat Titans on April 15.

Gill will show the fans around the two rooms created by the team and will also answer some questions. Fans will have to download an app, which has been shared on the official social media handle of Gujarat Titans. Around 45 people entering the room will get a chance to share space with the team opener. During the tour, Gil will also explore some of the features of the Metaverse.

Gill said, “We may be in a bio-secure bubble, but this technology allows us to interact with the fans and make them feel part of the Gujarat Titans family. I look forward to meeting them in the Metaverse on Friday “

According to a report, the Metaverse market size was $63.83 billion in 2021. The market is projected to grow from $100.27 billion in 2022 to $1,527.55 billion by 2029 during the forecast period, growing at a CAGR of 47.6%.
