Former chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh N. Welcoming Kiran Kumar Reddy’s joining the BJP, its Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao on Saturday said many more leaders would join the party in the coming days.
He predicted that the BJP would score a hat-trick in the 2024 general elections.
Addressing the media here, Mr. Narasimha Rao criticized the YSRCP’s ‘Jagnan Ma Bhavishyatu’ campaign. He said that people started opposing the government and the 2024 elections would be the end of the YSRCP government.
Mr. Narasimha Rao said that he had reviewed the preparations for the Ganga Pushkaram, scheduled to begin on April 22 and end on May 3.
He said that keeping in mind the possibility of a large number of Telugu people attending the event, arrangements are being made in Varanasi.
Former MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju hoped that Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy would make efforts to strengthen the BJP in Andhra Pradesh.
