The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) will showcase some of its major projects to the delegates visiting Visakhapatnam during the G-20 Working Group Committee meeting to be held on March 28 and 29. The projects include Floating Solar Power Project, Waste. Energy recycling plant, 24/7 drinking water project and command and control operations center at Kapuluppada.
On Monday, GVMC commissioner P. Raja Babu visited Kapuluppada, Jindal’s waste-to-energy recycling plant, floating solar power project at Mudasarlova and asked officials to ensure cleanliness of the surroundings. He has given instructions to arrange toilets in the recycling plant and maintain greenery. He said that the beautification work for the G-20 Working Group Committee meeting is going on fast and 80 percent work has been completed. He said that the remaining works would be completed in the next few days.
