Hardik Patel targets Congress over party leader’s statement on Ram temple, asks ‘Why so much hatred for Hindus?’

Stepping up his attack on the Congress, days after resigning from the party, Patidar leader Hardik Patel on Tuesday said the oldest party has always been against Hindu ideology and hurts the sentiments of the people. The statement comes after Gujarat party leader Bharatsinh Solanki allegedly made a remark that “dogs urinate on bricks made for the Ram temple” in Ayodhya.

Solanki recently accused the BJP of extorting money from people in the name of Lord Ram and not giving its account. He further said that the bricks for the construction of Ramshila, or the Ram temple in Ayodhya, were also sent by people from across the country to build the temple. “These bricks were stored in the villages used for the construction of the temples. But you must have seen dogs urinating on them.’ India today.

Expressing his anger over Solanki’s statement, Patel said, “I have already written in my letter (about opposing Ram temple in Ayodhya) when I resigned from Congress. Bharat Singh Solanki’s statement is an example of that. When the whole country runs on the principle of Lord Ram, the Congress is giving controversial statements on the Ram temple. This shows that Congress leaders were always against Hindu ideology.

He also said on Twitter, “I want to ask Congress and its leaders what is their enmity with Lord Shri Ram. Why hate Hindus so much? After centuries, a temple of Lord Shri Ram is being built in Ayodhya. Still, Congress leaders keep making rhetoric against Lord Shri Ram.

In his resignation letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi a few days ago, Patel (28) accused the top leadership of the party of behaving as if they hated Gujarat and Gujaratis.

Patel had claimed that despite several attempts to steer the Congress in the right direction, the party was continuously working “against the interests of my country and our society”.

“Therefore, I would like to draw your attention to some very important issues… Over the past three years, I have found that the Congress and its leadership, both at the Center and at the state level, have reduced to just opposing everything. He had said in the letter that there should be Ram temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, implementation of GST, India wanted a solution to these issues for a long time and Congress only played the role of a blocker, he said in the letter. said. .

“When it comes to issues related to India, Gujarat and the Patidar community, the only stand of the Congress was to oppose the central government led by the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi He said amidst speculations that he would join the BJP ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections due later this year.
