Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat on November 20 accused the state government of neglecting the precautionary norms for COVID-19. On the CM Dhami-led government’s decision to lift the COVID-restrictions, Rawat said, “I think the state government did it without considering the precautionary measures, without looking at the COVID situation in the state and the country or perhaps the rise in COVID cases.” The decision was taken irrespective of the report of Many countries.” He said, “When we were asking them to resume the Chardham Yatra as the number of infections was decreasing, they did not take any decision at that time.”
