Trailer rolls out for 20th anniversary of Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts
HBO Max has released the much-anticipated preview of “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts,” the upcoming special that will reunite the actors and filmmakers from the eight-film series, which will stream Jan. There will be a reunion of JK Rowling, the author of the books on which the movies were based. Rowling was criticized for her comments about the trans community after she retweeted an op-ed article on “menstruating people” a year ago.

“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” which marked the debut of the Wizarding World’s film arm, was released in November 2001 — and the special will celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary, reports Variety.
“Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts”, which will reunite actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, was taped at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.
It will feature other talent from the film, including Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis and Ivana Lynch. . The trailer shows the cast reminiscing about the movies as well as the festivities in the Great Hall, according to Variety.
