A newspaper ad for a law college is doing the rounds on the internet for an amusing reason. It draws comparisons between Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Spector from the hit American television series Suit and Jagdishwar Mishra, played by Akshay Kumar in the Hindi film Jolly LLB 2.
The full page advertisement is for Indore Institute of Law. It has images of two characters placed alongside the text reading, “You could be Harvey Spector or Jagdishwar Mishra, the choice is yours”. For those who don’t know, in the American series, Harvey Spector is one of the most sought after lawyers in America. Whereas, Jagdishwar Mishra is a struggling lawyer from Lucknow who dares to fight a legal battle against an experienced and cunning lawyer and wins.
Sharing the photo, the user jokingly said, ‘I want the confidence of the colleges of Indore.

It seems that not everyone could understand creative advertising.
I don’t understand what Indore Institute of Law is trying to prove here? Both the characters were good as lawyers – made mistakes in career but rectified them in the end and proved their accountability again. So what is this comparison? anything to make matlab cool????
