“One of the most common complications of tonsil surgery is bleeding or hemorrhage and can occur during or after surgery. Even if this condition does occur, we have it with a plethora of different techniques, instruments, and lasers. There are operating protocols to be managed. So it would be wrong to assume that this has happened in just one case, it will happen in others,” explained Dr. Vashistha.
He further elaborated that there are many conditions or conditions that can lead to complications in surgery. If a patient has acute infection and bleeding more than usual then doctors prefer to prescribe antibiotics instead of going for surgery. In some surgeries, patients may have physical conditions that do not allow their blood to clot easily. This may be a contraindication to surgery.
