Heavy rain likely at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh in next three days

Thunderstorm accompanied with widespread rain with isolated heavy falls very likely over Coastal AP till August 9.

A cyclonic circulation over West Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andhra Pradesh Coast lies over North Coastal AP and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal, extending up to 4.5 km above mean sea level, moving southwest with elevation tilted to the side.

According to the Meteorological Centre, Amaravati, a low pressure is likely to form over northwest and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal on August 7.

Under its influence, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds of speed 40 to 50 km/h are very likely to occur at isolated places over North Coastal AP on Saturday, and gusty winds of speed between 40 to 50 km/h. There is a possibility of rain with thunder. and 50 km/h, and heavy rain very likely at isolated places over South Coastal AP and Rayalaseema.

Heavy rain and thundershower likely to occur at isolated places over North and South Coastal AP on August 7, 8 and 9. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely at isolated places over Rayalaseema on August 7, 8 and 9.
