The civic body has identified over 70 places, including primary schools, where people can be sheltered in case of heavy waterlogging or floods in the Vishwamitri river. The officials were also asked to ensure that adequate food and water is available for the displaced persons in case of need.
The city zoo has also made arrangements for the animals there. The authorities have stocked up on food and medicines for the animals.
