The movie and TV submission entry form deadline is November 15 and final nominations will come out on December 13.

Earlier this year, the HFPA received a swift response after a Los Angeles Times The report revealed that the organization counted zero black journalists among its then-87 members.

Following the revelation, NBC, a longtime telecast partner for the awards, announced that it would not air the 2022 iteration of the Golden Globes.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise also returned three Golden Globe statues he won for his films “Born on the Fourth of July”, “Jerry Maguire” and “Magnolia”.

In March, the HFPA said on social media that it intended to reform, starting with the recruitment of a diversity expert and an independent attorney as “preliminary steps we will take over the next 60 days”.

During this year’s Golden Globes broadcast, three HFPA leaders – Helen Hohen, Vice President; Mehr Tatna, Board President and former Chairman; And Ali Sir, the present President – came on stage and addressed the controversy.

Three members stressed that “black representation is important” and that they are working to “idealize” the diverse membership.
