A common leg pain or pain in the thighs, calves and buttocks which occurs due to high cholesterol affects the routine life of the person.

Walking or doing minor physical activity can also cause foot pain. Pain, cramps, numbness in the legs and frequent tiredness.

Muscles require more blood with physical activity, which is affected by constricted blood vessels that subsequently cause pain.

These pains go away during rest and come back again with physical activity. In medical parlance, this is called intermittent claudication.
