High-performance electric sports bikes coming to India – Times of India

The popularity and sales of electric two-wheelers are increasing rapidly in the country. Hence, start-up companies are developing new electric vehicles and making them available in the market, thereby helping to accelerate the move towards e-mobility and thereby reducing the environmental impact and cost of operation.
However, people in India are now looking for more performance and not just low price with less features. Keeping this need in mind, big electric two-wheeler companies are now developing electric bikes with better performance.
Keeping this market sentiment in mind, here is a list of some high-performance electric 2-wheelers waiting to hit the Indian roads.
1. trouv motors hyper sports
The production of this electric sportbike will start soon and is likely to hit the market by 2023. Truve Motors says that the bike is designed to reach speeds of over 200 km/h with a range of around 350-500 km. The chassis used in this electric sportbike can support four body styles – hyper sports bike, toned down Indian version, naked street bike and enduro,

2. Ultraviolet F77
TVS Automobile Supported Ultraviolet Automotive It has a manufacturing and assembly facility in Electronics City, Bengaluru and is on the verge of launching its first electric bike, the F77.

The company claims that this bike can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds along with a speed of 140 kmph. The bike has three modular lithium-ion batteries, with a claimed range of 150 km, the bike also gets connected technology with remote diagnostics, LED headlamps. TFT Display, regenerative braking, multiple ride modes, bike track, ride diagnostics and many more features.
3. Emflux one
Emflux may launch its hyper-speed motorcycle this year. The superbike combines electric power with its funky design and sporty exterior. It is equipped with a liquid-cooled AC induction motor of 50 kW peak power. The company claims that the top speed of the bike is 200 kmph and it can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3 seconds. The company also says that the bike offers a range of 200 km.

Other features include 7Touch TFT display, GPS navigation, real-time vehicle diagnostics, mobile app, Brembo Dual-channel ABS, Ohlins suspension and brakes equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.
4. hop electric mobility
Jaipur based EV manufacturer, HOP Electric Mobility is expected to launch its first indigenous hyper-speed motorcycle, the HOP OXO very soon. The company has recently opened its manufacturing facility in Jaipur.

The upcoming high-speed motorcycle will be produced here along with the next-gen HOP LYF (internally called Lyf 2.0). The company claims that the upcoming high-speed motorcycle will have a real-world range of over 130-150 km on a single charge respectively and can reach 80/90 kmph in less than 10 seconds.
