Highest package of Rs 52 lakh in Chandigarh University placements, a huge increase from last year’s Rs 36 lakh

Campus Placements During 2021-2022, more than 757 companies made offers to the students of Chandigarh University (CU). More than 7,500 jobs were offered to students with the highest annual salary package of Rs 52.11 lakh per annum. Last year, according to the information available on the official website of the university, in the year 2020, the highest package was given at Rs 36 lakh annually.

Dinesh Polta, a cloud computing student from Chandigarh University was given the highest offer. He is a student of Computer Science and Engineering stream with IBM with specialization in Cloud Computing.

In this placement season more than 15 companies offered salary package of Rs 20 lakh, around 30 companies offered salary package of Rs 15 lakh, more than 70 companies offered package of Rs 10 lakh, and more than 290 companies offered Rs. More companies offered packages of Rs 5 lakh. Above, the university claims.

Companies including Amazon, Microsoft, SAP Labs, Google, VMWare, HP, Deloitte, Cognizant, Sapient, Hitachi, Practo Technologies, Flipkart, Zomato, Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Vistara, Jet Airways, TGIF were the top recruiters this year . campus placements, the university added.

Our placement drive 2022 kickstarted on a high note, with several CUIs bagging handsome packages, and cloud computing student Dinesh Polta bagging a grand package of Rs 52.11 lakh.

According to official data from the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), around 2,904 students graduated in the year 2019-20 and 1,151 were placed with an average salary of Rs 4.8 lakh. While 91 out of 131 postgraduate students were recruited with an average package of Rs 5.72 lakh.
