Hilarious memes flood Meta’s Threads app soon after launch

Meta has officially launched Threads, an app that is supposed to be a direct rival to Twitter. The app will allow users to post text, links and reply or repost others’ messages.

The launch has taken the internet by storm. Within hours, threads were witnessed 10 million sign-ups, A meme fest, of course.

Several users shared a meme that focused on the hilarious conversation between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk after the launch of this new app. The meme has a text that reads, “Zuckerberg to Elon after launching Threads. He can be heard saying, “By the time you realize it, it will be too late.”

Another shared a scene from Govinda’s 1997 film Naseeb with the caption, “Elon Musk when everyone is joining the threads.”

A meme of Gangs of Wasseypur also appeared on social media.

A user on Twitter shared a video to explain how people will return to the micro-blogging platform after trying out threads for five minutes.

Expressing a similar sentiment, another said, “10 minutes in Threads app. I’m back on Twitter.”

One comment said, “Not sure about the Threads app but it’s awesome.”

As the app crossed various milestones, Mark Zuckerberg Kept the world updated about it through Threads post. Earlier, Zuckerberg had revealed, “Threads has surpassed 2 million sign-ups in the first two hours.” Shortly after this post, he updated everyone, “Exceeded 5 million sign-ups in the first four hours…” Zuckerberg’s latest post shows that the 7 million mark has been passed.

The Meta CEO also shared a meme on Twitter that shows two men dressed as Spider-Man pointing at each other.
