‘Hit a century in first two phases’: Akhilesh said, BJP worried after elections, attacking party on law and order

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav exuded confidence that his party has scored a century in the first two phases of assembly elections and criticized the BJP government for “deteriorating law and order” in the state. Akhilesh’s remarks go for the third phase of the assembly elections on Sunday in UP in 59 seats.

“The BJP is going to be wiped out. The farmers of UP will not forgive them. We have scored a century in the first two phases and in this phase also the SP and the alliance will be ahead of everyone else.

“The son of a businessman was kidnapped in Agra and killed a few days later. UP CM was sleeping? Will he be able to fix the responsibility and punish the offender? He could not even join the expressway in Gorakhpur,” said Akhilesh.

He said that the public is unhappy with the BJP and this time the election is about the removal of the BJP government from Uttar Pradesh.

“They (BJP) are worried that the public is angry with them, so their language and behavior has changed,” he said in Saifai in Etawah. He also attacked the government over the law and order situation in the state.

Hitting out at the BJP government in the state, Akhilesh said, “Baba was the chief minister for five years. Why didn’t you give the facility to your medical college which is in PGI? who is responsible? Saifai’s development is not for a day. Baba CM has to do no work, see no good work.”

Akhilesh is contesting from Karhal seat against Union Minister SP Singh Baghel. The constituency has been a stronghold of the Yadav family where the SP has lost only once since 1992.

Meanwhile, SP Singh Baghel, who is contesting from BJP, has been the former PSO of SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav.
